     Ritual / rit·u·al - a religious or solemn ceremony consisting of a series of actions performed according to a prescribed order.

     Ritual is a series of works by Kelly Devitt that explore relationships between the body and the daily process of servicing our skin. This exhibition would display 5-7 ceramic works that sit atop a variety of pedestals as well as a grid-based tile installation made of 70 ceramic bottles. In addition, a series of photographs depicting ambiguous bodily landscapes will be displayed throughout the gallery.
