Shopper baskets are one of the most functional and most used baskets throughout history. In this workshop instructor, Rachelle Fratzke, will lead you through creating a New England style tote that even includes cotton handles perfect for a trip to the farmers market. Participants will learn about reed types, cutting reed, soaking, and weaving the basket from the base up. Participants are welcome to bring a sack lunch or take a lunch break on Saturday, April 9th and if needed, an optional evening to finish your basket is scheduled for Thursday, April 14th from 5 pm-8 pm.

All supplies included. This is a relatively easy basket for entry level - intermediate skill levels.
